Chairman Message

We are grateful to all the founding members for entrusting us with the prestigious responsibilities of Chairman and General Secretary of the Cancer Charitable Society Ghaziabad.

Since assuming office on December 1, 2019, our primary challenge has been to enhance the hospital with cutting-edge medical services and ensure its accessibility to the broader community.

To address this, we reached out to the leaders of nearly 900 villages within a 25-kilometer radius of the hospital, sharing comprehensive information about its services and organizing regular cancer awareness camps. With generous support from donors, we established an ICU, a modern operation theater, a pathology lab, and 24-hour inpatient facilities. These efforts required an investment of over ₹1 crore in advanced medical equipment.

The hospital now boasts two ambulances and a state-of-the-art cancer detection van, generously donated by Rotary International, significantly strengthening our diagnostic and emergency response capabilities.

Recognizing the growing influx of patients, we expanded our team from just 30 in early 2019 to over 120 dedicated professionals today, including doctors, technicians, nurses, attendants, and sanitation staff. This growth has enabled us to provide comprehensive and timely care to all patients.

In addition, we launched a hospital canteen to ensure free meals for patients and refreshments for their attendants. Infrastructure improvements include waterproofing the hospital’s roof and constructing a protective shed in front of the radiation center.

These initiatives have transformed the hospital into a hub of excellence, combining modern medical facilities with compassionate care. We remain committed to expanding our reach, serving the community, and continuing to provide accessible, quality healthcare to those in need.

The hospital’s power capacity has been upgraded, and two new gensets have been installed to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. In accomplishing these tasks, we received immense support from the institution’s former Chairman, Dr. R.K. Poddar, Shri Mahesh Chand Garg, and Shri Ratan Lal Garg, as well as the former General Secretary, Dr. Subhash Agrawal, and Engineer Shri S.N. Srivastava. During this period, Shri Rajeev Agrawal and Shri Mukesh Gupta also joined the executive committee. Beyond their guidance and support, both members generously donated significant amounts to the hospital, furthering its progress.

We would like to extend our special gratitude to the institution’s Vice Chairmen, Shri Dinesh Garg and Shri Dinesh Mittal, along with our esteemed Treasurer, Shri M.C. Garg. Their wholehearted approval and unwavering support of every proposal for the hospital’s advancement have been instrumental in its development.

Each member of the institution’s executive committee has dedicated their 100% efforts to the hospital. As a result, the hospital stands at a pivotal point today, with strong prospects of being counted among the best cancer hospitals in Delhi and the NCR region.

Undoubtedly, the dream of making this hospital one of the finest cancer facilities in Delhi and NCR can only be realized through the generous contributions of donors like you. We firmly believe that, as always, you will continue to respond generously to every appeal we make when needed.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the hospital’s Medical Director, Dr. Rishi Kumar Gupta, and his team of doctors. Not only did they ensure the seamless operation of the hospital during the entire lockdown, but they also continue to serve patients tirelessly, leaving no stone unturned in their efforts.
