Best Cancer Hospital In Delhi/NCR

Cancer Charitable Society Ghaziabad

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the founding members for entrusting us with the significant responsibilities of Chairman and General Secretary of the Cancer Charitable Society Ghaziabad.

After assuming these roles on December 1, 2019, our primary challenge was to develop state-of-the-art medical services in the hospital and make them accessible to the general public.

To achieve this, we reached out to the leaders of approximately 900 villages within a 25-kilometer radius of the hospital, sharing detailed information about the hospital and organizing regular cancer awareness camps in their areas. Additionally, with the generous support of donors, we established an ICU, a modern operation theater, a pathology lab, and 24-hour inpatient facilities. This process involved the purchase of advanced medical equipment worth over ₹1 crore.

Today, the hospital is equipped with two ambulances and a state-of-the-art cancer detection van, generously donated by Rotary International.

In response to the increasing number of patients, the hospital now employs a team of 120 staff members, including doctors, technicians, nurses, attendants, and sanitation workers. This is a significant increase from around 30 staff members in early 2019.

Furthermore, a canteen has been established in the hospital, providing free meals to patients and refreshments to their attendants. Infrastructure upgrades include waterproofing the hospital roof and constructing a protective shed in front of the radiation center. Additionally, the hospital’s power capacity was increased, and two new gensets were installed to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.

These achievements were made possible through the generous support of former Chairman Dr. R.K. Poddar, Shri Mahesh Chand Garg, and Shri Ratan Lal Garg, as well as former General Secretary Dr. Subhash Agrawal and Engineer Shri S.N. Srivastava. During this period, Shri Rajeev Agrawal and Shri Mukesh Gupta joined the executive committee, contributing not only their guidance but also substantial donations that greatly strengthened the hospital’s resources.

We are especially grateful to Vice Chairmen Shri Dinesh Garg and Shri Dinesh Mittal, and to our esteemed Treasurer Shri M.C. Garg, who wholeheartedly supported every proposal for the hospital’s progress and provided their full cooperation.

Every member of the executive committee has given their best efforts to the hospital. It is due to their dedication that the hospital now stands at a pivotal stage, with strong prospects of being recognized among the top cancer hospitals in Delhi and the NCR region.

This dream of establishing a leading cancer hospital in Delhi and NCR can only be realized with the continued generosity of compassionate donors like you. We firmly believe that you will, as always, respond generously to every appeal we make.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the hospital’s Medical Director, Dr. Rishi Kumar Gupta, and his team of doctors, who not only kept the hospital running smoothly during the lockdown but continue to tirelessly serve patients with unwavering dedication.

With sincere gratitude to all of you.
